Project Coordinator - Retrofit Assessor





Location:

Hybrid - Expectation to work from our Cardiff office twice per week, with site visits as required for operational delivery

Salary:

Up to 30,000 per annum (full-time)

Contract:

Permanent, full-time. Flexible hours and working patterns available - we're open to arrangements that support childcare, caring responsibilities, or other personal needs.

About the Role





We're looking for a qualified Retrofit Assessor to join our growing Retrofit Coordination team. As a Project Coordinator - Retrofit Assessor, you'll help deliver high-quality Medium Term Retrofit Plans (MTRPs) that are compliant with PAS 2035 and tailored to individual homes.



You'll play a central role in making our retrofit projects both technically accurate and practically effective. From reviewing assessments and addressing data gaps, to preparing clear technical write-ups and coordinating across teams, your work will ensure every plan stands up to scrutiny and supports real-world delivery.

How You'll Help





You'll be involved across all stages of retrofit planning, helping to keep things compliant, consistent and high quality. That includes:


Delivering PAS 2035-compliant documentation by following established internal processes Working with Team Leaders to prioritise homes for MTIPs Reviewing Retrofit Assessments, surveys and post-install packs to spot and fix errors Filling data gaps using trusted online sources or SAP-compliant assumptions Drafting clear technical write-ups, covering: + Sequencing logic
+ Assumptions and caveats
+ Previous retrofit history
+ Any remedial works needed
Creating and updating MTIPs using internal tools and software Uploading accurate project information via the TrustMark data warehouse Tracking key metrics and performance data to support planning Staying up to date on PAS 2035, SAP and wider industry guidance Collaborating with technical colleagues to develop tailored retrofit solutions Supporting continuous improvement by suggesting better ways of working Managing your own workload to meet weekly and strategic delivery targets Supporting onsite inspections where needed



What You'll Bring





This is a role for someone with a strong technical grounding in retrofit and a keen eye for detail. You'll be confident working with data and documentation, and equally comfortable collaborating with colleagues across multiple projects.



We're looking for someone who has:


Qualification as both a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and Retrofit Assessor Working knowledge of PAS 2035 and its application in domestic retrofit Understanding of SAP methodology and retrofit sequencing Experience reviewing or producing technical reports and PAS-compliant documentation Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, charts, lookups and Power Query) A full UK driving licence

Working Hours:

Full-time at Sero means 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, worked flexibly between 7am and 7pm. We're happy to consider part-time options too - let us know what works best for you.


Location:

You'll work from our Cardiff office two days per week and may need to travel for site visits. The rest of the time, you can work from wherever suits you best.
