About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a mixed-use property portfolio. The portfolio includes long-term rental units, short-term accommodation (Airbnb-style lets), and commercial properties linked to a growing pub investment business. The role will involve liaising with tenants and guests, ensuring properties are well-maintained, managing listings, handling tenant onboarding and rent collections, and acting as the main point of contact for all tenancy matters.

Key Responsibilities

Tenant Management & Communications Act as the first point of contact for all tenants and short-term guests across the portfolio. Manage check-ins, key handovers, and property orientation for new tenants and Airbnb guests. Handle day-to-day queries, complaints, and tenancy issues professionally and efficiently.

Listings & Occupancy Management Create, update, and optimise online property listings across relevant platforms. Support the process of sourcing and onboarding new tenants and guests to maximise occupancy rates. Coordinate with marketing teams to keep property adverts fresh and appealing.

Rent Collection & Chasing Arrears Issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding rents promptly. Liaise with the accounts team to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.

Maintenance & Issue Resolution Log, track, and coordinate repairs or maintenance requests with contractors. Carry out property inspections where necessary to ensure standards are upheld. Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to minimise future problems.

Portfolio Support Assist with the growth of the property portfolio by supporting tenant onboarding for new acquisitions. Work closely with management to streamline processes and improve tenant satisfaction. Support the property tech platform's development by sharing real-world tenant management insights.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in property management, lettings, or tenant liaison. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach. Familiarity with rent collection processes and tenancy regulations (preferred but not essential). Ability to handle conflict resolution calmly and professionally. Tech-savvy and comfortable using online platforms for property listings, rent tracking, and guest communications. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Role Details

Hours: 2 days per week (flexible schedule, occasional weekend availability for guest check-ins preferred). Contract: Freelance or part-time employment basis. Location: Primarily field-based with some remote working for admin tasks. Remuneration: Competitive day rate or pro-rata salary (dependent on experience).
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10,000.00-12,000.00 per year
