Overview

Opportunity for a qualified RVN to work in a very busy indepenent practice in Crouch End North London. Established in the area since 1972, 1 site only. We are seeking a dedicated, confident and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients while supporting the veterinary team in various tasks. This position requires a strong commitment to animal welfare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Lastest Ultrasound, Laser treatment, Bronc and Endo scopes, Digitial xrays, Dental Xrays and in house lab. Supported by a team of 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs, 4 receptionists and 2 admin team. Work hours are 9 per day x 3 days per week with Saturday rota.

Salary will reflect experience.

Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Perform laboratory tests including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures. Monitor anaesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic, including equipment sterilisation. Support the front desk with client inquiries when necessary.

Experience

Qualified RVN only. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners is essential.
