About the Role

As our Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our care service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and promoting a culture of excellence, dignity, and respect. You'll lead a team of committed care professionals, oversee care planning, and work closely with families and external stakeholders to deliver truly personalised support.

You will also be expected to participate in the

out-of-hours on-call rota

and provide

shift cover

when necessary, ensuring continuity of care and support across the service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the care team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care Conduct regular staff supervisions and spot checks Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements Oversee care assessments, support plans, and safeguarding procedures Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a high-performing team Build strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and provide shift cover when required Drive continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) Proven experience in a care management role Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards A genuine passion for improving lives through quality care Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
