We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated
Registered Manager
to lead our Children's Residential Home. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality residential childcare services, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the home in line with
Ofsted regulations
and company policies.
Ensure the safeguarding, welfare, and developmental progress of all children within the home.
Lead, develop, and manage staff teams to deliver consistently high standards of care and professional practice.
Oversee the creation, implementation, and review of individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements, including safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection.
Manage financial and operational resources effectively, including budgets, staffing, and reporting obligations.
Build and maintain professional relationships with local authorities, external agencies, and other key stakeholders.
Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, driving continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
(or equivalent/working towards).
Demonstrable experience in a management or deputy management position within a children's residential care setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding procedures, children's legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
Strong leadership, team management, and performance development skills.
Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Resilience and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Full UK driving licence .
