Leadership & Team Management Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of staff, ensuring competence and achievement of learning targets. Lead supervision, appraisal, and performance management processes. Manage investigations, disciplinaries, complaints, and root cause analyses in line with company policies. Foster professional growth through robust learning and development opportunities.



Develop and own the homes annual business plan and contingency plans. Ensure the activities team delivers a meaningful, best-practice programme for residents. Coach and empower the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Relationship-Centred Care Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to support high-quality, person-centred care.



Ensure care delivery reflects best practice and follows a cycle of continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Uphold confidentiality, integrity, and transparency at all times. Approachably engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, building trust and rapport.



Demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering the highest standards of care. Health & Safety Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, including timely completion of risk assessments. Oversee safe working practices, and ensure timely reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses. Maintain a safe and compliant environment and equipment.



Compliance & Quality Assurance Build effective working relationships with external agencies and key stakeholders. Ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are fully met, including timely reporting of statutory events. Respond promptly to internal and external audit findings, evidencing progress through action plans and risk registers. Maintain a strong focus on achieving the highest possible CQC outcomes.
