We are looking an inspirational Registered Manager to lead a

NEW therapeutic

children's home that will transform the lives of amazing children that have experienced developmental trauma.

The Role:

As Registered Manager, you will:

Work passionately to lead and manage your team to achieve life-changing outcomes for children, in line with our values and therapeutic model. Develop your team to look beyond behaviours and to understand and respond to the underlying needs of children with a highly empathic, pro-active approach. Ensure safeguarding is a priority within the home and that practitioners are thinking broadly about how to manage risks and keep children safe. Create a joyful, structured home environment with high aspirations, positive routines, rituals and boundaries.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership of Residential Childcare.

Experience:

Track record of managing Ofsted registered children's homes to a 'good' or 'outstanding' level.

Knowledge:

Excellent safeguarding and regulatory knowledge.

Skills:

You will have a solid grounding in therapeutic approaches. You will be an effective delegator, motivator and developer of people.

Working pattern:

The Registered Manager's role requires flexibility to provide oversight as and when needed (this may sometimes be on the weekend or evenings). We take a reciprocal and relational approach - we want our managers to thrive and that means getting essential rest and recovery. That said, there will be times when the Registered Manager is needed to lead from the front to support their teams. On call duties (up to 14 days per month).
