If you're craving a role where your nursing skills are genuinely valued
If you're tired of feeling stretched thin, or you want a place where teamwork is more than a line on a website, this could be the change that finally feels right. A role where you are supported, not rushed. Heard, not overlooked.
The Opportunity
We're working with a modern, purpose built small animal practice in the Nottingham area, that has built a team grounded in kindness, collaboration, and proper clinical standards. This is a place that wants nurses to nurse. A place where your voice matters and your growth is encouraged, not squeezed in around the edges.
They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys variety, loves being part of a close team, and wants to contribute to something that is genuinely developing. You will be stepping into a practice that takes pride in doing things well, where nurses are trusted, involved, and supported by colleagues who want you to thrive.
If you enjoy a busy caseload, value continuous learning, and want to be part of a team that lifts each other up, this role offers the space and the structure to do exactly that.
Why This Role Is Different
A team that works together
A supportive group of 4 RVNs, plus developing vets, including 2 currently completing certificates in medicine and surgery.
A reception team of 7 who keep the front of house running smoothly, so clinical teams can focus on patients.
A healthy mix of experience levels, creating a truly collaborative environment.
Space to use your skills
A varied caseload every day, giving you the chance to rotate through theatre, inpatient care, consult support, and clinical administration.
Purpose built facilities designed to make your work easier and safer for patients.
A culture that genuinely invests in growth
A practice where several team members are actively studying, giving you real peer support for your own development.
A leadership approach that values curiosity and encourages nurses to pursue specific interests with funded CPD.
A rota that respects your life outside of work
40 hours per week
1 in 4 weekends
Duty nights on a fair, predictable rotation
