Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, confident and creative Marketing Assistant to join the business. You will work directly with the founder to turn upcoming product launches, restocks, and key events into a consistent social-media calendar (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest), craft email campaigns (using Yotpo and Klayvio), and perform graphic and video editing (Canva + CapCut). You'll draft, schedule, and send all content on a set timeline, requesting assets as needed. Passion for curly hair and scalp health is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Content Calendar:

Develop and maintain a 4-week social-media schedule (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) based on product launches, restocks, and seasonal themes.

Graphic & Video Edits:

Use Canva to create on-brand graphics and CapCut to edit 15-60-second video clips for Reels and TikToks.

Email Campaigns:

Draft and schedule product-launch or newsletter emails, ensuring all copy and visuals are approved before send.

UGC Coordination:

Track potential customer or micro-influencer content ideas and alert the founder when UGC assets are needed.

Basic Reporting:

Provide a brief monthly summary of social engagement, email performance, and UGC assets collected.

Qualifications & Skills

Curly Hair Enthusiast:

Personal experience or strong empathy for textured hair and sensitive scalps.

Canva & CapCut Proficiency:

Able to create polished graphics and edit short-form videos quickly.

Email Marketing:

Familiarity with Yotpo or similar platforms--building and scheduling campaigns, tracking open/click rates.

Organised & Reliable:

Meets deadlines without reminders and communicates any blockers promptly.

Creative Ideation:

Proactively suggests relevant social-media trends or content angles tied to That Good Hair's audience.

Strong Writing:

Able to craft concise, on-brand captions and email copy in a warm, educational tone.
