The Cut & Craft is a group of independently owned and operated British steak restaurants specialising in crafting luxurious and memorable dining experiences.

We are looking for an experienced local Reservations Manager to run the host and reservations department of our new flagship site. The ideal candidate will have been working in a similar role in a fast paced, high-end establishment.

As the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the reservation process, ensuring efficient booking management and exceptional guest service. You will play a key role in optimising table turnover, enhancing guest experiences, and contributing to the overall success of The Cut & Craft Manchester.

Varied shifts including evening and weekends. Approx 48 hours per week.

Areas of Responsibility



Manage Reservations



Handle all incoming reservations via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accurate and timely bookings and optimising table allocations and spaces at all times.

Guest Excellence & Experience



Provide a genuine, warm and welcoming experience for guests, addressing enquiries, special requests, and any concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience to all guests, ensuring that service standards are consistently upheld and that any guest concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

Systems Management



Maintain and optimise the reservation system (OpenTable) to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and seamless operations.

Collaboration


Work closely with the guest experience manager, restaurant management, front-of-house and kitchen teams to co-ordinate seating arrangements, special events, and large group bookings.

Team Development



Train and mentor, the host team on best practices, customer service protocols, and system usage.

Data Analysis & Reporting



Analyse reservation trends and guest feedback to improve service delivery and optimise seating capacity. Track and report on reservation metrics, providing insights to management for strategic planning.

Systems Managing


Own OpenTable when on shift and manage to book.

Event Coordination



Assist in planning and executing private events, ensuring all details are communicated and managed effectively.

The Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience



Proven experience in a reservations or guest relations role, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service.

Proficiency in reservation management software, OpenTable

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with guests, staff, and vendors.

A passion for providing exceptional hospitality and a genuine commitment to ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 34,000.00 per year
