As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards in food, hygiene, and safety. This is a key leadership role requiring strong communication, organisation, and hands-on management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage front-of-house and kitchen teams effectively
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant
Oversee customer service standards and resolve any service issues
Manage bookings, rotas, stock levels, and supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and report to ownership
Recruit, train, and develop staff
Support marketing initiatives and promotions
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience
in restaurant or hospitality management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Knowledge of restaurant software and basic financial management
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours
