Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service and maintain a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality and presentation meet our restaurant's standards.
Develop and implement training programmes for staff to enhance their skills in culinary techniques, bartending, and customer service.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures to optimise profitability.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
