Restaurant Manager

for our sister restaurant

Maccaruna

, where we serve amazing pasta dishes and our award-winning gelato! This unique dual-role position requires experience as a pasta chef alongside strong leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities



Restaurant Management:



Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage and train front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, striving to exceed guest expectations. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.

Pasta Chef Duties:



Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pasta dishes according to established recipes and standards. Oversee the preparation and cooking of all pasta-related dishes, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain an organized and clean kitchen, following food safety guidelines. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and techniques related to pasta preparation.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager and a strong background in Italian cuisine would be preferential Exceptional culinary skills, particularly in pasta preparation and cooking. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry, including Food Safety Levels 1 and 2 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience and a commitment to quality.
