We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious Cafe/Restaurant based in the Colchester area. If you live and breathe the hospitality trade and you want a great chance to take your career to the next level in this renowned Cafe/Restaurant, this could be the job for you!
This well-loved Cafe/Restaurant is very well known for its fantastic food and customer service. They cater for high volume, and are always a busy, bustling venue. They are only open during the day, so the standard shift times would be 8am - 5pm. They are open 7 days a week, and you would get one weekend day off each week, plus an additional day off during the week.
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who lives and breathes the hospitality industry and great customer service. The right Manager should be packed full of energy and enthusiasm, have a passion for front of house, be hardworking, but also with a great sense of humour to keep the happy, enjoyable atmosphere of the existing front of house team.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be keen to learn from and work alongside the General Manager, being an integral part of the team, and not afraid to get stuck in with the staff. You must have proven previous experience within a similar position and establishment and will be keen to show your own leadership and management skills, by training and mentoring the existing team.
Manager Skills :

• Is proactive and hands on, with an eye for detail.

• Passionate about guest service and food quality standards.

• Obsessive in ensuring all guests have a great experience and going over and above to achieve this.

• Works well in a team.

• Can handle the pressures of working in a busy restaurant environment.

• Is ideally experienced within a strong restaurant Background.

This busy venue is easily accessible from Colchester, Braintree and Witham; however, a car driver will be preferential.
