Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house activities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service within a restaurant environment.

A working schedule (35-48hours) can be negotiated

33,000 per year for 48 hour week (13.22) per hour

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction are consistently met Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels efficiently. Implement training programmes for new staff, focusing on hospitality standards and operational procedures. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolutions are achieved promptly.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting. Strong culinary background with hands-on experience in food production and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of hospitality principles, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
