Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd provides the contracted catering for Tatton Park. The business operates across The Stables Restaurant, The Gardeners Cottage Tearoom and Corporate Buffets to the Mansion House.

Role Purpose Statement:




- To manage the day to day business within the Stables Restaurant, Gardener's Cottage and group/function lunches efficiently and comply with our company policies.

- Focus on daily sales targets to grow sales against budget, managing staff costs v's sales delivering within budget
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping of sales. Overseeing cashing up daily and ensuring procedures are followed whilst preparing for the next few days in staff management etc.

- Ensure weekly orders are placed with our suppliers and keeping core lines available within the kitchen and front house team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, employees, and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
- Utilize UNIT4 operating system to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records and training.
- Oversee the planning of our calendar of events within Tatton Park and recording sales performance as required.

Qualifications and Skills:



- Team management, delegation and upselling staff training experience required.


- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in person or across "Teams".
- Familiarity with general use of Merry Chef Ovens/Coffee Machines and Barista skills is a plus.

Main Accountabilities:



Assist the Catering Operations Manager in managing the daily business as listed within the job description.

Arrive on duty, use signing in procedures in accordance with the roster and standards of appearance as set out in the employee handbook.

Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance, following dress code and work space hygiene etiquette as stated within our employee handbook.

. A motivated and caring person with strength in time management and explementary communication skills, with a passion for excellent customer service and building teams to drive sales.

Follow the instructions of the Catering Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the catering operation and aid with the maintaining of Hygiene Standards, Fire Safety, Health and Safety, Annual Training Records, Personnel Records, Natasha's Law and HACCP regulation records at all times.

-Experienced in, a high volume restaurant and similar business is a requirement.

Follow instructions, guidance and the law in maintaining daily written records with regards to health and safety, food safety, Allergen control measures, Natasha's Law and HACCP as set out by Tatton Park Enterprises Ltd.

Service Delivery / Operations :



Ensure breaks are planned and executed to ensure minimum disruption to the daily deadlines and time management. Set the tone for the day by way of a morning team briefing and afternoon debrief in preparation for a high standard of close for next days business.

. Daily Menus and food displays to meet our company standards, keeping it fresh and full of Tatton Estate and local produce.

Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials.
. Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability, portion control and wastage management.

Days of Work:

The working week will be a mix of 5 out of 7 days.

Your main days of work will be dictated by the needs of the business, our core business is within the Stables Restaurant. Plus providing weekly buffet lunches for our corporate visitors at the Mansion or selected Afternoon Tea dates in the Gardener's Cottage throughout the year. This is currently a seasonal operation for Afternoon Tea. Regular weekend availability is key as Friday to Sunday are our busiest days outside of Bank Holidays. Tatton Park is closed on Monday's throughout Low Season, you will be required to work your share of Bank Holidays throughout the year and on a few of the closed Tatton Park Monday's for training days and stocktake within the business needs.

Hours of Work:

Our trading day is 10am until 4pm meaning start times are usually 8-9am until 5-6pm at the latest over the weekends.

Health and Safety Compliance:



Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Attend Fire Training, Health and Safety Training as specified by TPE Management
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience through customer interaction.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, control costs, and increase profitability whilst leading a team in a high volume catering business.
