We are looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager who can oversee daily operations while also bring strong culinary skills to the kitchen. This is a dual role that requires both leadership and cooking expertise, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a small dynamic environment.
Duties
Management & Operations:
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and supervision.
Monitor stock levels, place supplier orders, and control costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Customer Experience:
Provide excellent front-of-house service when required.
Handle customer feedback with professionalism.
Help build a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.
Kitchen Support:
Prepare and cook brunch and dessert dishes to a high standard.
Step into the kitchen as needed during busy periods or staff shortages.
Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Chef.
Strong culinary background, with confidence in both sweet and savoury cooking.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to thrive in a small team and adapt to different roles when needed.
Knowledge of London's brunch/dessert scene is a plus.
