Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies. Manage and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes professional development. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu items that align with current trends. Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organisation. Assist in budgeting and financial planning, monitoring expenses to achieve profitability targets.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Demonstrated ability in team management, with excellent supervisory skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant environment. Previous experience in hotel or fine dining establishments is an advantage. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff.
