We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, with a passion for food and customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant maintains high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive work environment for all staff.
Must be available to work weekends, small traditional pub serving homemade food. Small and loyal team, good locals trade and very busy during the summer.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house activities.
Manage and train staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, striving for resolution and improvement.
Prepare reports on restaurant performance, analysing data to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage management is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A background in kitchen operations or culinary arts is preferred but not essential.
