We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, service standards, and hospitality practices.
Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment.
Experience
Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production.
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Experience as a barista or in serving roles is beneficial for understanding front-of-house operations.
