We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to manage a diverse team and maintain high standards in food production and preparation.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Lead and motivate a team of staff, including cooks, bartenders, and servers, to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee kitchen activities, including food preparation and production, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs effectively. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement training programmes for new employees, focusing on hospitality standards and operational procedures. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures, to achieve profitability goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food production techniques, and menu development. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Previous experience in supervising food preparation or bartending is advantageous but not essential.
