Overview
Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the front of house team in delivering efficient customer service. Tinga is a fast pace, lively, independent restaurant serving Mexican street food and premium cocktails. Tinga has been established since 2018 and has recently moved to a busier location on the High Street in Salisbury.
Duties
Leading the front of house team to delivery awesome customer experience throughout the whole customer journey
Greeting guests, serving guests and dealing with booking enquiries online and face to face
Some stock management including placing orders with suppliers
Ensuring staff are well trained inline with company policies and development plans
Close working with Owners, GM, Head Chef and supervisors to ensure total alignment with business goals
Health and safety and building checks are managed professionally
Experience
Experience working in a busy restaurant in a leadership position
Working with cocktails and tapas style service
Completion of basic qualifications such as food safety level 2, basic health and safety etc
First aid and personal alcohol licence would be good but not essential
Understanding of labour margin and GP's
Experience with developing young people
Salary : Hourly pay and inclusive of gratuity
