Restaurant Manager

. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in high-end restaurant management. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience running premium hospitality establishments, displaying exceptional leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering memorable customer experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, high-expectation environments and understands how to balance operational efficiency, staff development, and guest satisfaction with overall business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:



Restaurant Operations & Guest Experience



Oversee end-to-end restaurant operations, ensuring flawless service throughout the day. Maintain top-tier guest service in line with fine-dining expectations. Supervise front-of-house staff and foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere aligned with the restaurant's vegetarian and family-friendly values.

Staff Management & HR Coordination



Lead recruitment, training, and onboarding of hosts, servers, captains, and supervisors. Prepare staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. Coach and evaluate staff, fostering a professional and motivated team.

Sales Growth & Business Development



Analyse sales metrics to identify areas for growth and improved average spend per guest. Collaborate with the marketing team to roll out promotions and customer engagement initiatives. Develop relationships with local businesses, communities, and influencers to enhance brand visibility.

Customer Relationship Management



Personally greet and engage with guests, ensuring their satisfaction. Handle and resolve complaints with professionalism and empathy. Monitor online feedback and manage the restaurant's public reputation.

Cross-Departmental Coordination



Serve as the key communication link between floor staff, kitchen, and senior management. Coordinate with chefs for menu updates, events, and quality assurance. Report operational updates and challenges to upper management regularly.

Financial Oversight & Reporting



Maintain accurate billing and daily income records via the POS system. Manage petty cash, vendor payments, and reconciliation. Assist in financial reporting and performance reviews.

Compliance & Ambience



Ensure strict adherence to UK food safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain a pristine, refined environment reflecting the fine-dining ethos. Conduct SOP and standards audits regularly.

Candidate Requirements:



Minimum 5+ years' experience managing fine-dining or high-end casual restaurants. Strong communication skills and fluent English. High personal grooming standards and a confident, guest-facing personality. Proven leadership with ability to develop and retain staff. Skilled in complaint handling, upselling, and service excellence. Familiarity with restaurant accounting and operational software.

Preferred:



Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality. Experience in vegetarian or themed restaurants. Prior experience working in or familiarity with UK-based operations and compliance.
