We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Manage staff, including floor and bartenders, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items.
Assist in training new employees on hospitality practices and operational procedures.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Implement effective team management strategies to optimise performance and productivity.
Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary while managing costs effectively.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
Skills
Strong supervisory skills with experience in managing kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also leading initiatives independently.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
A passion for hospitality, with a commitment to providing outstanding service at all times.
