We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our View Restaurant and Lounge on a rota basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 4-5 star restaurant service and team management, ensuring that we deliver an excellent service each and every time. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising and training team whilst maintaining a seamless service between kitchen and restaurant.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, and front-of-house activities.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control measures to optimise profitability.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and feedback promptly.
Implement training programmes for team on food safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Monitor cleanliness and organisation within the dining areas to maintain a welcoming environment.
Assist in the recruitment process for new team members, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Experience
Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the culinary industry.
Demonstrated ability in team management, with excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide staff effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation is essential.
Previous experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential.
