The Role



Oru is looking for an individual who is truly passionate about the hospitality industry. As Supervisor, we expect you to provide a first class service to the restaurant customers whilst helping your managers lead and supervise the team.

Responsibilities



Manage the day to day restaurant operation in the absence of the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager Prepare cafe/ restaurant for the service Communicate with kitchen staff, regarding food allergies and customers requirements Communicate with Senior Management about any problems during shifts Ensure service standards are maintained To lead staff briefings to the team Ensure standard checklists are used and checked Be able to handle all positive and negative customer feedback Deal with customer complains Ensure company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained Ensure team are punctual, polite and helpful to customers and colleagues at all times. Train new staff members Ensure that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked Ensure all deliveries are correct Up-sell food and beverages Know menu, prices, and ingredients of food and beverage menu items

Approximately two years experience in a similar role Spoken and written English at a B2 level or above Computer literacy A passion for hospitality and sustainability Knowledge and understanding of the industry Personal Licence holder (preferential)
