Location:

Hybrid - Expectation to work from our Cardiff office twice per week, with site visits as required for operational delivery

Salary:

Up to 50,000 per annum (full-time)

Contract:

About the Role





We're looking for a qualified Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator to join our Retrofit team and take a leading role in the delivery of high-quality retrofit projects.



As a Retrofit Coordinator, you'll oversee the full PAS 2035 lifecycle, managing multiple projects across different clients and housing types. From energy modelling and property assessments to quality assurance and compliance checks, you'll help ensure our work delivers both technical excellence and real-world impact.



This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. You'll collaborate with internal and external teams - including social housing providers, contractors, installers and technical colleagues - to coordinate works, troubleshoot issues, and drive projects to successful completion.

How You'll Help





You'll be the named Retrofit Coordinator for PAS 2035-compliant projects, supporting the successful end-to-end delivery of retrofit work. That includes:


Leading the full retrofit lifecycle in line with PAS 2035, PAS 2030 and funding requirements Coordinating with clients, contractors, asset managers and housing providers Evaluating retrofit options and producing Medium Term Improvement Plans aligned with housing and funding objectives Overseeing compliance documentation and technical reporting Providing site-based support to contractors and reviewing progress against standards Supporting design development and the creation of property-specific design packs Lodging completed works via TrustMark Preparing papers for our internal Technical Review Board and contributing to risk management



What You'll Bring





We're looking for someone with hands-on retrofit experience, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to balance regulatory rigour with practical delivery.



You'll likely have:


Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator & Risk Management qualification Proven experience delivering retrofit projects under schemes such as SHDF Strong knowledge of PAS 2035, PAS 2030 and compliance documentation Experience working in consultancy or a retrofit-focused organisation Experience collaborating with housing providers and multi-disciplinary teams Desirable: experience with system-built homes (e.g. Hawksley, BISF, Dorlonco, Doran) Desirable: DEA certification or Level 3 Energy Efficiency qualification



You'll thrive in this role if you:




Have excellent project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills Are confident managing multiple workstreams and deadlines Communicate clearly and comfortably with technical and non-technical audiences Are confident in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts, Power Query) Have a proactive mindset and a sharp eye for detail Care deeply about sustainability and net-zero housing Hold a full UK driving licence and are happy to travel for site visits

Working Hours:

Full-time at Sero is 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday. We're happy to talk about part-time options too.


Location:

You'll work from our Cardiff office twice per week and attend site visits as required. Outside of that, you're free to work from wherever suits you best.
