Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth across our service offerings. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our market presence. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning business development strategies with the placement of SMAR Academy graduates and the delivery of SMR Facilities Management services.
Sales & Business Development
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across target sectors.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calls, meetings, and presentations.
Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, set performance goals, and contribute to strategic planning.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Strategic Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with operational capabilities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation and brand positioning.
Support the integration of SMAR Academy graduates into client organisations.
Contribute to the development of service offerings and pricing strategies.
Client Engagement & Onboarding
Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
Coordinate with recruitment and operations teams to meet client expectations.
Monitor client satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably within recruitment, training, or facilities management.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
