VirginLand is a high-growth, tech-enabled business acting as the
outsourced land department
for developers across all sectors -- residential, industrial, commercial, energy and more. We help our clients identify and acquire sites, combining technology, data, and deep market expertise to create efficiency in a traditionally slow-moving process.
We're expanding our sales team and looking for a driven
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
to fuel the top of our sales funnel. If you're proactive, organised, and excited by the challenge of opening doors with developers and site acquirers, this role is for you.
The Role
You'll be the engine behind our new business activity -- prospecting, qualifying, and creating opportunities for our senior sales team to convert. Expect a mix of research, outreach, and relationship-building with developers, investors, and companies acquiring land.
This role is high-impact and will be the perfect launchpad for someone ambitious, creative, and curious about both sales and the property world.
What You'll Do
Proactively research & engage new
developers, investors, and companies actively looking for land and sites
via email, LinkedIn, calls, and events.
Qualify inbound leads with structured screening before passing to the wider sales team.
Book and manage introductory meetings for senior colleagues.
Keep our CRM clean, accurate, and up to date.
Support marketing activity (LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, events, thought-leadership).
Prepare proposals, slides, and sales admin support for pitches and renewals.
Help systemise outreach processes and improve how we generate leads.
What We're Looking For
1+ year B2B sales or business development experience (graduate applicants with relevant drive will be considered).
Highly organised, structured, and comfortable working with technology.
Naturally curious with a "problem-solving" mindset.
Strong communicator who enjoys starting conversations and building rapport.
Already using AI tools.
Creative thinker -- someone who can write outreach and content that stands out (not boilerplate corporate, not copy & paste from GPT).
Basic understanding of property/land is a bonus (but attitude and aptitude matter more).
An appetite for innovation.
Success in This Role Means...
Consistently booking qualified meetings with developers and acquirers.
Growing our top-of-funnel outreach and engagement.
Helping place 'live sites' with the most suitable developers.
Leading our online presence (LinkedIn activity, thought-leadership, email marketing)
Attending industry events and expanding our developer network.
