Job Purpose:
Lead and develop the Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent customer engagement, proactively communicate strategy execution, and account growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of internal sales and customer service, ensuring you are driving growth through sales strategy.
Ensure key commercial and service metrics, including sales targets, pipeline progression, service levels, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
Develop and refine internal sales and service processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across the customer journey.
Provide coaching, support, and structured training to enhance the team's product knowledge, customer service skills and commercial awareness.
Collaborate closely with field-based Sales Managers to ensure alignment between internal and external sales activities, as informed by our commercial strategy.
Supervise the customer service function to ensure fast, accurate, and professional handling of customer enquiries and order issues.
Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and using feedback to drive process improvements.
