Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and provide excellent customer service through upselling will contribute to our success.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing ingredients and preparing condiments. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Manage time efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Follow basic maths skills for portion control and inventory management.

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and portion control. A passion for culinary arts and food preparation. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
