We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while promoting additional menu items through upselling techniques Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours Perform basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning, chopping, and preparing ingredients as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
