Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating delicious sandwiches that keep our customers coming back for more.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders, ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Perform basic maths calculations for portioning ingredients and managing stock levels.

Requirements

Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Basic maths skills for accurate ingredient measurement and inventory tracking. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. A passion for food and a desire to help create memorable dining experiences.
