Scaffolding Yardman

Marshall Scaffold (a division of Marshall Construction) are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Yardman to integrate into the business

This is a permanent, full-time position based out of the Marshall Plant Offices in Alva.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload scaffolding equipment from vehicles Sort, check, and maintain scaffolding materials (tubes, fittings, boards, etc.) Organize and store scaffold equipment in designated yard areas Clean and inspect returned equipment for damage or wear Prepare orders for delivery to job sites, ensuring accuracy and quality Assist in stock counts and inventory control Operate forklifts and other yard machinery (if licensed) Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly yard environment Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards promptly

Requirements:

Previous experience in a scaffold yard or construction environment preferred Good physical fitness - heavy lifting and manual labour required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid forklift license (preferred but not essential) Commitment to health and safety standards Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
