49,764.00 - 52,805.00

All Year Round - Full time (37 Hours a week)

Annual leave entitlement 30 days (increasing to 34 days after five years service)

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly motivated

School Business Manager

to join our school team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the financial and operational management of the school to ensure resources are used effectively to support student learning.

Key Responsibilities



Lead on financial planning, budget management, and reporting Oversee HR, payroll, and recruitment processes Manage premises, health & safety, and compliance matters Liaise with external contractors and service providers Support the Headteacher and Governors with strategic planning and operational leadership Ensure best value and efficient use of school resources

Person Specification




We are looking for someone who:

Has proven experience in financial and operational management, ideally within an educational setting Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. School Business Management Diploma, AAT, CIPFA, or equivalent) Is confident in using financial management systems and Excel Has excellent organisational, interpersonal, and leadership skills Is proactive, solution-focused, and resilient under pressure
