The Governors of Oak Tree Primary School invite applications from an experienced and highly motivated individual with enthusiasm and a commitment to work in our inclusive school.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety and Estate Management and will ideally possess, or be willing to work towards the Certificate/Diploma of School Business Management or have a strong background in finance or management. The post holder will be responsible for the Administrative and Site teams, and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team will provide support services to facilitate the provision of a learning environment where children grow and develop in safe and supportive surroundings.
The successful candidate should:
Have the ability to work as part of a team and independently
Have the ability to work accurately and methodically with attention to detail
Be professionally assertive and able to remain calm under pressure
Be proactive, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
Have knowledge and experience of using MIS
Provide specialist financial support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school using computerised finance systems
Have the ability to prioritise time and workload
Display excellent leadership and management skills
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be friendly, approachable and professional with a `can do' and solution focussed attitude
Demonstrate the ability to work with high levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
Work under pressure managing competing priorities
Have commitment and a good sense of humour
Have completed or be willing to complete, the Certificate of School Business Management/Diploma of School Business Management or equivalent qualification
Have a flexible and enthusiastic approach
