WORKING PATTERN: 42 hours within Shift Pattern Days, Nights and Weekends
THE ROLE:
A fantastic Opportunity has arisen within Amulet for a Security Team Leader to join our successful team in the Glasgow area.
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users
Job Overview:
You will ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property. The post holder will be responsible for leading the day-to-day security requirements of a prestigious corporate site, with an impeccable image and very high standards of professionalism, training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the security team both within the Head Office and the wider Client estate on a daily basis.
Ensure each team member has an individual training plan with specific training needs analysis conducted.
Create new procedural documents as required - ensuring all duties are captured and all policies adhered to.
On-site Threat Assessors.
Lead both internal and external teams to resolution.
Responsible for producing the departments shift patterns, thus ensuring that trained, and a knowledgeable cover is provided at all times.
Investigating and reporting issues
Lead and supervise the security team on a daily basis.
Ensure that all relevant onsite training has been completed, especially regarding the completion of incident reports and site documentation.
Ensure that all patrol activity is carried out in accordance with the assignments.
Deliver training to the on site team on Client SOP's.
Ensure accurate reports are created for daily, weekly, monthly meetings.
Key Requirements:
Strong technology skills - Our client is embracing digitisation. As well as standard Microsoft package skills and a familiarity with telephone systems, printers and photocopiers.
Team Working and Leadership - Our client is looking for team leaders who can think on their feet, have good problem-solving skills and ability to work with their team to ensure any challenges faced are dealt with swiftly, effectively, and professionally.
Experience - Our client requires leaders with a proven track record, strong leadership skills and experience of managing teams in a high demanding, changing customer focused environment such as a security control centre, airport or similar.
Excellent communication skills - Both written and verbal. Security Team Leader duties always rely on the ability to communicate in an accurate, clear, and concise way.
Time management and flexibility - Team Leaders will have daily duties, weekly and monthly duties to undertake together with requests from Corporate Security, daily reporting, handovers, incident investigation and ARC and security officer management.
Knowledgeable - A security team Leader with our client needs to become fully familiar with the client's estate. They are also required to have an operational overview and knowledge of the sites that staff are deployed.
Dependable - Dependability in a security team leader is essential. Staff at all levels should be able to feel confident in the security team leaders.
High degree of interpersonal skills - The security team will be the first and last person visitors meet.
Smart, well-groomed, and confident.
A commitment to providing first class customer service is essential.
Previous operational experience at supervisor level within the security industry.
Flexibility within Role, to support the Operational Team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
SIA Badge DS required.
SIA Badge CCTV preferred, not essential.
Proven 3 years experience in a supervisory / Team Leader capacity
5 years UK address history essential.
High level of IT literacy.
Full UK drivers' licence.
