Key Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND (e.g., autism, ADHD, sensory needs, learning difficulties). Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to implement IEPs and EHC Plans. Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in a safe, supportive classroom environment. Assist with differentiated learning activities and resource preparation. Support emotional well-being through positive interventions and behaviour strategies. Contribute to wider school life, including events and inclusive activities.
What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification or SEND-related training is desirable but not essential.

Experience:

Prior work as a TA, LSA, or in a SEND setting is highly valued. Experience with autism, ADHD, or other SEND conditions is a plus.

Skills:

Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships.

Attributes:

Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.

Bonus:

Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, or behaviour management approaches is helpful, but not required.
