Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

mainstream and specialist schools in Liverpool

Role Responsibilities

Support the delivery of tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs. Provide focused support to pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Assist with lesson preparation, resources, and daily routines. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and families. Offer personal care support when required, with sensitivity and respect. Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Candidate Profile

Experience supporting children or adults with SEND is beneficial. Backgrounds in education, care, youth work, psychology, or coaching are welcome. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners. A genuine interest in inclusive education and pupil wellbeing.
