Cardiff (Based at the Cardiff Office)

Salary: Starting at 12.60

Immediate after notice period

Hours per week:

Flexibility offered, 50 : 50 on providing hands on care and senior duties.

Key Responsibilities

Support and supervise care professionals in the community Complete spot checks (observations of care) Carry out care in the community Participate in the on-call rota Provide back-up care cover Support rotas and respond to short-notice changes Act as a role model for Right at Home values Escalate concerns and support quality improvement
Senior Duties

Spot checks & quality monitoring On-call decision-making Back-up care delivery Leading care reviews
Essential Requirements

Level 3 Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) Domiciliary care experience Ability to work flexibly, including on-call Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle

Person Specification

Qualifications & Experience

Ideally QCF/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Adult Social Care - though not essential

Previous domiciliary care experience is ideal

Highly driven and ambitious, who has the desire to make a real difference and greatly improve an already well-established business
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to talk passionately about our services and values to potential referral sources

Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge

Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on call system for out of office hours

Extremely well organized, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail

Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships
