We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of service delivery, coordinating schedules, and providing excellent customer support. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage all service bookings and scheduling for our team of field service engineers.
Handle incoming calls to the service department from customers and waste suppliers, providing information, transferring calls, and taking messages as required.
Invoice service work accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and issue RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to clients prior to engineer visits.
Monitor and follow up on repairs, ensuring all machines meet health & safety requirements.
Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
Process job sheets from field service engineers with precision.
Maintain and update internal databases, systems, and company portals.
Provide customers with detailed and competitive quotations for repairs and additional services.
Requirements - The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in customer service, administration, support, or planning roles.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to remain calm and adaptable during busy periods, ensuring consistent service delivery.
Outstanding time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
A collaborative mindset and excellent team player qualities.
