Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join our team in Stockport. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling our service engineers, managing service administration, handling service contracts, and providing excellent customer support.

You will play a key role in ensuring our service operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting both customers and internal teams across a range of service activities.

Requirements


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in service scheduling or coordination, preferably within an engineering or technical environment. Strong IT and administrative skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems, and ideally Solarvista (our end-to-end management system). Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment are also key.

Key Responsibilities



Support Contract Managers in day-to-day service operations. Liaise with customers and subcontractors by phone and email, ensuring a professional and timely response. Coordinate and plan PPMs, site service work, and engineer schedules, including travel, tools, and PPE arrangements. Act as the single point of contact for all field service bookings. Prepare and issue purchase orders and service contract documentation as required. Compile and distribute weekly/monthly service performance reports. Manage service contract administration, including coordination within SAP. Coordinate and book training for service engineers. Process quotations and labour orders, tracking progress through to completion. Follow up on completed service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and close out any outstanding actions. Support with expenses, job cards, and administrative follow-up from service visits. Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain smooth service delivery. Liaise with suppliers and third parties to ensure timely delivery of parts and services. Focuses on process improvement, KPI monitoring, and service delivery optimisation Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring it is organised, safe, and efficiently operated. Manage stock control and inventory, including ordering, issuing, and replenishing parts, tools, and consumables.

Equipment Types


Experience with or understanding of Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration and Process Cooling Solutions is advantageous, including:
