Service Lead



We're excited to advertise our Service Lead role due to the expansion of our established supported living service in Salford. This is a new role that will be responsible for operationally managing a number of established services in the Walkden area of Salford. We would like to hear from you if you are able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to motivate and bring out the best in others whilst creating a learning culture within your teams & services.

You will also be an exemplary role model for good practice and have the vision and ability to creatively, co-design and deliver excellence.

We're looking for someone who is:

About the role



Leading the workforce, you will ensure staff are fully supported and equipped to undertake their role. You will motivate your team from a strength-based perspective in order to get best practice in delivering support and to enable energetic, exciting, and innovative ways of working.

You will need to work to the regulations and policies set internally and externally e.g. Care Quality Commission, Commissioners.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and you will work on a rota which includes weekends and bank holidays.

Experience and skills required:



Must have experience of leading and managing a team of staff to deliver personalised support

Must have experience with budgets and resource management

Experience of working with vulnerable people including adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism, and older adults.

Ability to use a computer and be IT literate

NVQ level 4/5 in care and management or willingness to undertake necessary training

Driving License and access to own car is essential

Pay: 33,691.05 per year
