Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a deep understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and supervising kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies. Assist in creating a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration among kitchen personnel.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food service. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes and dishes.
