We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Team Leader to oversee and coordinate engineering activities within our organisation. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Coordinate engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Oversee technical design reviews, troubleshooting, and problem-solving activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards across all engineering operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to optimise processes.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to senior management.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements relevant to the organisation's operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an engineering leadership role or similar managerial position.
Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrable leadership qualities with experience in team development and motivation.
Good communication skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant professional qualifications or degree in Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to engineering environments.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure.
