Location:

Remote, with regular travel across neighbouring counties

Salary:

50,000 - 65,000 per annum (including performance bonus)

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Responsible Individual to take on a senior leadership role supporting multiple children's residential homes across Greater London. This is a unique opportunity to influence care at a strategic level, raise service standards, and empower Registered Managers to create environments where children and young people can thrive.

In this high-impact role, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring regulatory excellence, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a strong safeguarding culture across all services.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards. Provide expert consultancy, coaching, and mentoring to Registered Managers to deliver exceptional care. Lead on safeguarding initiatives, embedding transparent and accountable practice. Oversee preparation for Ofsted inspections, aiming for 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes. Advise on operational management including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation. Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, social workers, and regulatory bodies. Drive professional development, training, and performance improvement across services. Promote a reflective, learning-focused culture that prioritises quality and outcomes.
About You

Minimum of 3 years' senior leadership or consultancy experience in children's residential care. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent/working towards). In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation, Ofsted frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrable success in improving outcomes and influencing best practice. Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel across Greater London. A strong personal commitment to achieving the highest standards of care.
