Job Description


Wates Group are looking for Social Value Advisor to join the Construction team.

This role is responsible for ensuring that Wates Construction Ltd meets and, where possible, exceeds requirements on T-Level related activities. This will primarily focus on coordinating Wates Construction\xe2\x80\x99s national programme to provide industry placements and related sectoral development & support activities, in-line with commitments made by contractors on the Department for Education\xe2\x80\x99s construction frameworks and our other public sector framework requirements

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will be responsible for ensuring that both learners, host project teams and relevant members of Wates Group\xe2\x80\x99s supply chain have access to best-practice guidance, learning materials and technical support systems in order to achieve the best learning outcomes and onward employment & training opportunities.

As our Social Value Advisor, you will be involved in:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of a T Level strategy to be reported on to Wates Central Education Team & Group Social Value leadership
  • Tracking work pipelines and forward-planning to help our regional businesses to deliver associated T-Level targets
  • Liaising with project teams from bid to completion to ensure high quality placements are provided to the young people we support
  • Engaging education providers and other external and internal partners to plan, monitor, coordinate, support and report on all T-Level activities.
