Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation processes. Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to ensure cost-effective operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
