Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable.
Skills
Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate staff.
Comprehensive culinary experience, including knowledge of various cooking styles and cuisines.
Familiarity with hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
