Responsibilities

Handling Cash counter Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively. Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for cash handling. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts. Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear and helpful information.

Qualifications

Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly desirable. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain stock levels and store presentation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. A friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in helping customers find the right products for their needs.
